Hello Friends-
Hope everyone had a very happy thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving, and think it is really one of the best holidays of the year. Everyone is usually happy and in a great mood. And best of all, its a 4-day weekend.
My family usually goes up to my Aunts in Northern Jersey, but this year, we stayed in Baltimore and went to a family friends. It was great. Because we stayed local, I was able to play in our annual Thanksgiving Morning flag football game. We lost this year, but it was definitely a fun time.
Backtracking a little, Wednesday night, I went to see a Baltimore-based band called "The Bridge" at Rams Head. They are awesome, and I think you all should check out their new CD, "Blind Man's Hill" which is now available. All my friends were in town, so it was a great time.
Stay strong and keep working on your skills in the offseason.

Halloween - 12:19 p.m. / Monday November 3rd, 2008
Hello everyone. Sorry it's been a while, but I've been pretty busy. I just put on a clinic for a group of kids in the Looney's Lacrosse Club program. It was great. There were about 40 kids, and everyone had a great time. Its always fun to give back to young kids, and show them how to bring their game to the next level.
Halloween was once again, a great time. Baltimore's Fells Point is famous for its rowdy halloween scene (photos to follow). I was dressed as Lt. Dangle, from Reno 911. Short short khaki shorts, tight short sleeve button down, hilarious. Saw some pretty good costumes besides that. One of my buddies was Jackie Moon (Will Ferrell) and it was classic. ANy thoughts on your favorite costumes? Let me hear....

recovery - 10:53 a.m. / Monday October 13th, 2008
So I didn't even realize until after, but I was playing the last month of the MLL season with a herniated disk in my back (not fun at all). I had surgery 3 weeks ago, to remove the part that was herniated and pressing on my SI nerve, which was shooting pain down my leg, and have been recovering since. It's a long a slow process, but I'm definitely getting better. I cannot quite run yet, so I take walks everyday and lift a little bit of weights.
Anyway... crazy NFL season so far. My G-MEN are undefeated with a big game tonight at Cleveland. Its great to see the ravens keep losing by the way, and how about the Dolphins and Falcons. Nobody gave them a chance and now they are both tough teams to deal with.
I picked up my stick for the first time since the championship game this weekend, and it felt great. Make sure your stick stays sharp, don't get rusty, and have a great rest of the week. Ill be back soon.

Ladies and Gents-
Sorry it's taken so long, hope everyone's school years are off to a fast start. Was down in Atlanta a few weekends ago with some other Warrior guys, helping Liam Banks with a coach's clinic. It was a great time.
It was awesome to see how many coach's came to attend the clinic. Lacrosse has really grown in the south and to see over 100 mens and woman's coach's was perfect. They asked a bunch of questions and seemed totally interested and into what all of us players were talking about. Liam took care of everyone, (Thanks LB) and it was just all around good weekend.
Until Next time, keep ya chin up...

Bean Town Weekend - 12:19 p.m. / Wednesday August 27th, 2008
Whats up everyone? After a long MLL season, we are officially done, and the result was not what we hoped for, but it was a successful one anyway. Us Outlaws took out LA in an epic battle on Saturday afternoon at Haaavaaad Stadium. Jeff Sonke was unreal, scoring 4 in the 4th quarter.
After a quick turn-around to the finals on Sunday, we got dominated by the Rattlers. Credit to them for the great second half performance and the championship win.
On a lighter note, after Saturday's win, we had a team dinner at Maggiano's in Downtown Boston, and it was absolutely hilarious. General Reese and Captain Langtry were the MC's and had the whole room cracking up all night. We had rookie and newcomer speeches, some serious, most comical, and it was just a solid time to spend the last night of the season together with all the boys.
Now that the season is over, I'm going to relax for a little bit, and take care of all the nics and bruises from the year.
Good luck to all at the start of the new school year. Work hard, and play hard.

YUUUUUP...
Whats up guys? Sorry its taken a little while to get my first blog up, but I'm here and happy to be coming to you from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am in Seattle helping a buddy from college, Jamison Koesterer, out with a camp. Check out www.walax.com for more info on the west coast lacrosse scene.
I was in Boston this past weekend for our last regular season game versus the Cannons. They got the upper hand, but we will be back in Baaaaston next weekend for the playoffs. Its been very exciting making the playoffs in my first 2 MLL seasons, and this year especially, as the starter for the Outlaws. I like our chances if we play the way we are capable of.
Seattle is a crazy city. For the majority of the year, it rains, but the summers are amazing with very very little rain and clear blue skies. For you sushi lovers, this is the best city in the WORLD for sush!! Im sitting here with my main man, Mike "Kimbo" Kimmel, and we are gonna head out for a few sodas.
take care, and enjoy the rest of summer.
